Service Learning

Holy Ghost students truly have a heart for service.  Through service learning opportunities in the classroom, school wide, and in the community, our students are encourage to live out their faith.

Sports

Students at Holy Ghost have so many opportunities to participate in team sports. No matter what your age or what sport you love, there is a place for every student.  All sports teams compete against other Lutheran Schools in each sport. We offer:

 Varsity:  Co-ed team for grades 6-8

Juniors: Co-ed team for grades 3-5

Boys Varsity team – grades 7-8

Girls Varsity team – grades 7-8

Boys JV team – grades 4-6

Girls JV team – grades 4-6

Co-ed Volleyball Team for grades 6-8

Cheerleading Team grades 4-8

Clubs

There is an activity for everyone!  Check out some of the clubs available.

Students can indulge their creative side as they explore different types of art, try new mediums, and  express themselves in a visual way.  Art is displayed throughout the school all year long.

Whether you already love skiing or are just learning how, ski club is a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Western New York winter weather with your school friends.  

Students from 3rd grade and up have opportunity to spend time flexing their math muscles.  Teachers lead each group in continued practice and fun new math games.

STEM club is a chance for our middle school student to explore science and technoloy in exciting new ways. Building , coding, robots, and more happen under the direction of Mr. Davis.

Music

Music offerings abound at Holy Ghost.  Students can participate in both individual lessons and group performances.

Students have the opportunity to take 1/2 hour lessons each week from our incredible piano teacher, Mrs. Melissa Forsey. Students have the opportunity to perform during an annual recital as well as at chapel and Sunday Services at Holy Ghost.

Mr. Dave Manth leads students as thy expand their skills on a wide variety of instruments.  Students have opportunities to perform during chapel and Sunday Services at Holy Ghost.

Cherub Choir is a choir for students in Grades K – 2.  Students learn some favorite Christian songs and hymns. The Cherub choir will have opportunities to share the songs they have learned during school chapel and on a few special Sunday services at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.  The Cherub Choir is directed by Mrs. Carrier.

SKIP (Singing Kids in Praise) Choir is the choir for students in grades 3 -5.  Students may choose to participate in the SKIP choir.  Students learn more about voice technique, harmony, and musicianship as they praise God in song.  The choir has opportunities to sing at Sunday Services at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.  The SKIP Choir is directed my Mrs. Woodley.
